ISO 9001

Since years the DCH Düsseldorfer Container Hafen GmbH works according to the highest quality standards. This will be pointed out by the certification agreeable to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000

Storage of dangerous goods

The DCH has the license for the storage of dangerous goods. With this license DCH has a unique position at the lower Rhine.

Due to this it is possible to stow dangerous goods for a longer time on the DCH terminal and not only for the transhipment.

ISPS

After the tragic events of the September 11 2001 in the USA and the realisation that all types of carrier could be involved in terrorist attacks the International Maritime Organisation IMO has supplemented the SOLAS Convention by the ISPS-Code in December 2002. The ISPS-Code implement a world wide security standards for ships, ports and terminals to prevent terrorist attacks.

Since the 30.Septembre 2005 DCH is according to the ISPS regulations a safe terminal. The certification was at the 2nd of November 2005 performed by the Designated Authority (DA).
