The DCH Düsseldorfer Container Hafen GmbH represents the ideal of a trimodal inland shipment point. With its state of the art equipment the Terminal ranks among the most efficient ones in the country.
Right in the centre
Being situated in the centre of the industrial and chemical belt of the Leverkusen / Duisburg / Düsseldorf region, transit times between loading places and the terminal are extremely short. More than 70% of the terminal traffic is carried out within a range of only 50 km. Urgent container shipments can thus travel overnight from Rotterdam by means of the rail shuttle container express.
Large quantities of containers can be shipped on schedule in only approx. 16 hours from Düsseldorf to Rotterdam / Antwerp.
Transportation by barge offers a real alternative to direct truck services. If direct truck could not be avoided, DCH will also provide this service.
